Zach Lingley is the principal at Patriot Consulting LLC. Zach grew up in Orrington, Maine and now resides in Portland, Maine. After completing a double baccalaureate in Economics and Political Science from the University of Maine in Orono, Zach went to work for Senator Susan Collins on her 2008 re-election effort. Following the Collins ’08 effort, Zach worked in Collins’ Bangor state office before moving to Portland to attend the Maine School of Law in the Fall on 2009, where he graduated with his J.D. in 2012.

From 2011 to 2017, Zach worked for both arms of a partnership between the Preti Flaherty Government Affairs Group, and Strategic Advocacy, a public affairs firm. Through this unique experience managing supportive grassroots activities, while also contributing to the State House lobbying efforts, Zach has a unique understanding of how the two practices work together.

Zach has considerable experience in the following policy areas: casino gaming, alternative and traditional energy, beer and liquor regulations, recreational and medical marijuana regulation, marine resources, pharmaceutical companies, think tank management, outdoor recreation, health insurance, and employment.
